Ministry Partners

As believers, we are called to serve the last, the lost, and the least of these. Often, this is best accomplished through ministry partners who specialize in meeting a particular need in our city. If you are looking for a place to serve within Milledgeville, here are some organizations we love to support as they minister to our city. 

Alcoholics ANONYMoUS and Al anon

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem.  It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no age or education requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.

A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

AA meets at Milledgeville First Methodist Church:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday at noon
Tuesday at 5:30pm
Thursday at 10:00am and 5:30pm
Saturday at 8:30am and 10:00am

First Friday Speakers at 5:30pm

Al- Anon Family Groups help families and friends recover from the impacts of a loved one’s drinking. Members help each other by practicing the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous themselves.

Al- Anon meets at Milledgeville First Methodist Church

Fridays at noon.

Awakening Collegiate Fellowship of Milledgeville is a Wesleyan-minded campus ministry that partners closely with the Global Methodist Church as well as other Methodist and Wesleyan churches. ACF ministers to students on the Georgia College campus and the Georgia Military College campus.
