Join a team!

The call of Jesus always accompanied a call to join the team. When Jesus called His first disciple, He called them to become “fishers of men.” Every follower of Jesus is called to join Jesus in mission. Jesus invites you to participate in the extraordinary work He is doing in the word. His Kingdom is advanced by the power of the Holy Spirit working through ordinary people who have said yes to joining the team. Ministry at MFMC only happens when every member is engaged in the work of ministry.  

Children's Team

The Children's Team implements a disciple making ministry for children birth through fifth grade. Members of this team watch as children discover God for the very first time. Through this ministry the faith is passed on to the next generation as a foundation is built for a lifetime of following Jesus. Team members give their time to set up for ministry, pray for kids, care for kids in the nursery, and instruct kids on Sundays. Join the Children's Team by submitting the form below!

Connect Team

The Connect Team helps Newcomers establish meaningful connections in the church and begin taking next steps toward membership and full inclusion in the life of the church. Our heart is that everyone will experience a lifesaving relationship with Jesus Christ. For many, their first step towards faith is attending worship. Members of the Connect Team hold the door for the Kingdom of God. Members of this team give their time by greeting, distributing bulletins, preparing and serving coffee, following up with Newcomers, and answering questions at the welcome table. Altar guild

In Acts, the Apostles selected faithful disciples to serve at the table of the Lord. The Altar Guild assists the pastoral team in various ways during and in preparation for each worship service. The Altar Guild provides Scripture readers, Communion Servers, and collects the offering. To prepare for worship, the Altar Guild prepares the sanctuary by decorating for each service's particular needs and by baking the bread used in Communion.
